Her prophetic dreams and the figure of her grandfather, an elderly Shuar chief, shape her journey into adolescence and her understanding of her place in the world.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #00ffff;\">The first thing that strikes you, apart from the beautiful imagery in Nunkui\u2019s \u2018picture forest\u2019, is the delicately whispered soundscape. Amidst huts, trees and rivers, the everyday soundscape blends into a cinematic experience.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\">_________________________________________<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #00ffff;\">Nunkui lebt in einer Shuar-Gemeinde. W\u00e4hrend ihre Tante ihr Lieder und Geheimnisse des Ackerbaus beibringt, wird der weite Amazonas-Dschungel, in dem sie leben, an transnationale Bergbauunternehmen \u00fcbergeben, und in der Region beginnen Zwangsr\u00e4umungen. Die vorausschauenden Tr\u00e4ume und die Gestalt ihres Gro\u00dfvaters, eines alten Shuar-H\u00e4uptlings, pr\u00e4gen ihren Weg ins Jugendalter und das Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr ihren Platz in der Welt.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\">Das Erste, was einem neben den wundersch\u00f6nen Motiven in Nunkuis Bildwald auff\u00e4llt, ist die zart gehauchte Ger\u00e4uschkulisse.
