Al Cook remains inside a house saturated with the traces of a life lived there. Without memory, what does an object mean? Can a house, a machine, a record, or any material thing continue to carry the existence of someone who has disappeared? The objects around Al seem to preserve fragments of a life, turning the house into something more than a home, a living archive of memory. Yet when the house is threatened with demolition, these objects and memories are also placed at risk. Perhaps memory is what gives objects their ghosts. And perhaps, when everything else disappears, it is through these objects that a life continues to speak.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">__________________________________________<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff0000;\">Erinnerung verbindet sich mit einer anderen Art von Objekt. Al Cook bleibt in einem Haus, das von den Spuren eines dort gelebten Lebens durchdrungen ist. Was bedeutet ein Objekt ohne Erinnerung? Kann ein Haus, eine Maschine, eine Schallplatte oder irgendein materieller Gegenstand weiterhin die Existenz eines Menschen in sich tragen, der verschwunden ist? Die Gegenst\u00e4nde um Al scheinen Fragmente eines Lebens zu bewahren und verwandeln das Haus in etwas mehr als ein Zuhause, in ein lebendiges Archiv der Erinnerung. Doch als der Abriss des Hauses droht, sind auch diese Gegenst\u00e4nde und Erinnerungen gef\u00e4hrdet. Vielleicht ist es die Erinnerung, die den Gegenst\u00e4nden ihre Geister verleiht.
