Shelves are being stocked, walls knocked down, breaks taken and money counted. The people working here bring the place to life and then see it fade away. For five years, Paul Sonntag has been observing this change and repeatedly captures striking images of the transformation. Different versions of the same place overlap, creating a portrait of urban transformation. With a calm, humorous and sensitive eye, the film captures everyday places, showing how landmarks in the urban landscape disappear and new places emerge, whilst continually uncovering parallels and continuities<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\">_________________________________________<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #00ffff;\">Eine Stra\u00dfenecke in Berlin-Moabit ver\u00e4ndert sich: Aus einem alternden Supermarkt wird eine Baustelle, wird ein Neubau. Regale werden einger\u00e4umt, W\u00e4nde abgerissen, Pause gemacht und Geld gez\u00e4hlt. Die Menschen, die hier arbeiten, lassen den Ort entstehen und vergehen. F\u00fcnf Jahre lang beobachtet Paul Sonntag diese Ver\u00e4nderung und findet immer wieder beeindruckende Bilder f\u00fcr den Wandel. Verschiedene Versionen desselben Ortes legen sich \u00fcbereinander und schaffen so ein Portrait urbaner Transformation.
