A railway embankment, fields to the left and right, a wood in the background. Then, on the right-hand side, a small brick house flashes past. These are the final images of <\/span>Unter einem Dach<\/b>. This unassuming place vanishes as quickly as it appeared. But Gabriele Kotte pauses and looks beyond the fa\u00e7ade. She portrays a family living on the edge of the railway line, on the edge of poverty, and repeatedly on the edge of their ability to cope with what has happened: the father has raped his daughter. The film approaches the mother and daughter with sensitivity and tenderness, telling the story of how this family\u2014bound together in a strange way\u2014stays united. The result is a film that is at once raw and, despite everything, tender, photographed and edited by Michael Chauvistr\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Ein Bahndamm, links und rechts Felder, im Hintergrund ein Wald. Dann, auf der rechten Seite, rauscht ein kleines Backsteinhaus vorbei. Mit diesen Bildern schlie\u00dft Unter einem Dach<\/b>. Dieser unscheinbare Ort verschwindet so schnell wie er gekommen ist. Doch Gabriele Kotte h\u00e4lt inne und blickt hinter die Fassade. Sie zeigt eine Familie, am Rande der Bahnstrecke, am Rande der Armut und immer wieder am Rande ihrer M\u00f6glichkeiten mit dem umzugehen, was passiert ist: Der Vater hat die Tochter vergewaltigt. Sensibel und z\u00e4rtlich n\u00e4hert sich der Film der Mutter und der Tochter und erz\u00e4hlt, wie diese Familie, wie auf seltsame Art und Weise aneinandergefesselt, zusammenbleibt. Dadurch entsteht ein ehelicher, harter und trotz allem z\u00e4rtlicher Film, fotografiert und geschnitten von Michael Chauvistr\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
