Inspired by the work of one of the GDR\u2019s most significant documentary filmmakers, he went on to make, amongst others, <b>Mal sehen, was draus wird<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (1990), in which Chauvistr\u00e9 follows the Sack couple in the Mecklenburg region during the period surrounding the first free elections in the GDR and observes their everyday lives.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are therefore screening this film alongside J\u00fcrgen B\u00f6ttcher\u2019s <\/span><b>Stars<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (1963), in which we gain an insight into the work and camaraderie of a women\u2019s brigade in the quality control department for incandescent filaments at the Berlin light bulb f<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">actor<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">___________________________________________<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mit der Werkschau: Weggef\u00e4hrten war es unsere Absicht, nicht nur die Filme des Filmemachers selbst zu zeigen, sondern uns auch mit seinen Inspirationen und Einfl\u00fcssen zu besch\u00e4ftigen.\u00a0 Den Weg zum Dokumentarfilm hat Michael Chauvistre unter anderem durch die Filme von J\u00fcrgen B\u00f6ttcher gefunden.
