In this sense, the film itself becomes a guerrilla, resisting dominant cinematic forms and institutional narratives. During the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon, the Palestine Research Center in Beirut was attacked. Its archives were looted and destroyed, erasing not just documents and footage, but a cultural memory.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Kamal Aljafari\u2019s <\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">A Fidai Film<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> emerges from this absence. Using fragments of stolen, scattered images, it builds a counter-archive,defying colonial erasure through the quiet force of imagery. Told in chapters with narration, it explores how technology maps, monitors, and disciplines the Palestinian body. They don\u2019t offer closure but create space for mourning, remembering, and resisting. Here, cinema is not just a medium of expression; it is defiance made visible. From fragments and ruins, a fugitive archive rises &#8211; asserting presence where erasure was intended.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Das Wort Fidai bedeutet Freiheitsk\u00e4mpfer oder Guerillak\u00e4mpfer. In diesem Sinn wird der Film selbst zur Guerilla \u2013 ein Widerstand gegen dominante filmische Formen und institutionalisierte Narrative. W\u00e4hrend der israelischen Invasion im Libanon 1982 wurde das Pal\u00e4stina-Forschungszentrum in Beirut angegriffen. Die Archive wurden gepl\u00fcndert und zerst\u00f6rt \u2013 ein kulturelles Ged\u00e4chtnis ausgel\u00f6scht. Kamal Aljafaris\u00a0<strong>A Fidai Film<\/strong>\u00a0entsteht aus dieser Leere. Aus gestohlenen, verstreuten Bildern formt er ein Gegenarchiv, das der kolonialen Ausl\u00f6schung trotzt.
